This is the privacy policy for the GMGN iOS focus-timer app ("the App"). The App is operated by an independent developer ("we", "us"). This policy describes what information the App handles and how.
The App stores your focus sessions, projects, and quotas locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults storage. We do not collect, transmit, or store this data on our servers.
We do not require accounts. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels.
When you tap the "refine" sparkle button next to a text field, the text of that field plus a short instruction prompt are sent to our backend (https://solieraincorp.app/focal/chat), which forwards them to a large-language-model provider (OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Google Gemini, or Anthropic) for processing.
We do not store your prompt or the response on our servers beyond what is needed to forward the request. The third-party LLM provider's own privacy policy applies to what they do with the text in transit.
You can disable Cloud AI in Settings → Cloud AI → Enable Cloud AI assist. When disabled, no text is sent off-device.
On launch the App fetches a small JSON configuration file from https://solieraincorp.app/focal/state. Standard HTTP server logs (IP, User-Agent, request path) are retained for up to 14 days for abuse prevention and then rotated out.
The App declares use of NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryUserDefaults with reason code CA92.1 ("Access info from same app, per documentation") in PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy. UserDefaults is used solely to store your sessions, projects, quotas, and preferences on-device.
The App is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
The App does NOT track you across apps or websites (App Tracking Transparency: not requested). NSPrivacyTracking is set to false in the privacy manifest.
Since the data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing the App. Export-as-text is available in Settings → Data → Export as text.
